Take up to three items of luggage on a CrossCountry train.

Your luggage

When travelling with us you can take up to three small items of luggage onto the train free of charge. Two larger items such as a suitcase or rucksack (dimensions not exceeding 90 x 70 x 30cm or weighing more than 50kg) and one smaller item such as a briefcase. Overhead luggage racks are available throughout the train, space is also provided under seats and on luggage stacks in each carriage. Please ensure doorways and aisles remain clear at all times, and it’s possible you may be asked to place larger items in other dedicated luggage storage areas within the train.

If you exceed your luggage entitlement you may be liable for an extra charge - up to half the adult fare for your journey - for extra items exceeding 90 x 70 x 30cm, or which take up seats required by other passengers.
