An essential port of call for any visit to Plymouth, the
Barbican is the site where Drake and Raleigh once weighed anchor.

underwater world is also a registered charity, so your visit helps

Black Friars Distillery, the working home of Plymouth Gin since
1793, and is the oldest working gin distillery in England. The
building dates back to the early 1400s. Guided tours show visitors
how the gin is made, and tutored tasting sessions offer the chance
to sample the finished product. Just a short journey from Plymouth
train station, the distillery is conveniently located in the heart
of the city.
There is always something good on at the Theatre Royal. Even if
there isn't an actual show that catches your eye, you can always
take a tour behind the scenes for a unique look at how the busy
