Unfortunately, the RMT union has called a number of strikes for December (the next scheduled dates are Saturday 23 December, Sunday 24 December, Wednesday 27 December and Sunday 31 December.) that will significantly affect CrossCountry train services. We will be operating a reduced service but running some longer trains. This sets out framework policies for our business. paying due regard to the protection of the environment, the effective and efficient use of energy and raw materials, promotion of modal shift (from private cars to public transport) and the minimisation of waste.
