Training season: train company donates £250 to young runners’ campaign
Two young fundraisers from Bridlington, East Yorkshire, are celebrating a £250 donation from long distance train operator CrossCountry.

Stephen beat hundreds of entrants from across Europe with his stunning photo of a Voyager near Ballencrieff, Scotland, which has helped him win a total £675.00 in this year's competition.
In making their decision judges at transport magazine New Transit said "We felt that the impression of the train powering through the snow at a time when transport in many parts of the country was at a standstill conveyed the strength of the rail network. And of course the picture captured perfectly the glorious surroundings that can make travelling by train a real joy."
