For the third consecutive year, our trains have been recognised as one of the most reliable fleets in Britain.

At the prestigious Modern Railways Golden Spanner awards on 25 November 2012, CrossCountry won the Gold Spanner for its class 220 Voyagers for being the 'most reliable intercity train', meaning we are now recognised for operating the most reliable long distance trains in the country.

In addition, our HSTs also won a Gold Spanner award for 'most reliable IC 125 fleet'.

In 2010, our class 220s won the Gold Spanner and the HSTs a Silver Spanner, and in 2009 the class 221s won both Gold and Silver spanners.
