Training season: train company donates £250 to young runners’ campaign
Two young fundraisers from Bridlington, East Yorkshire, are celebrating a £250 donation from long distance train operator CrossCountry.

Helping students make those pennies go a little bit further, CrossCountry trains has teamed up with The National Union of Students (NUS) to offer the exclusive discount for NUS Extra card holders at crosscountrytrains.co.uk/nus. And what's more, when buying Advance tickets online via CrossCountry's website - students won't be charged a booking fee or extra charges for using a credit card!
To register is easy. Students simply have to visit the website and type in a valid e-mail address and personal NUS Extra card number.
