Helping students make those pennies go a little bit further, CrossCountry trains has teamed up with The National Union of Students (NUS) to offer the exclusive discount for NUS Extra card holders at crosscountrytrains.co.uk/nus. And what's more, when buying Advance tickets online via CrossCountry's website - students won't be charged a booking fee or extra charges for using a credit card!
To register is easy. Students simply have to visit the website and type in a valid e-mail address and personal NUS Extra card number.
Clare Shufflebotham, Partnership Manager at CrossCountry comments: "Our partnership with NUS will help students make their university funds stretch even further, offering some great online rail savings. The NUS Extra card gives students access to a whole host of exclusive discounts and offers, so we're glad to be supporting students and NUS in offering extra-discounted train fares online."
