Sunday 21 – Friday 26 July 2019

Network Rail will be carrying out major track improvement work in the Gloucester area. The work will involve upgrading the track and signalling.

An amended timetable will run from Sunday 21 – Friday 26 July. Rail replacement road transport will operate between:

  • Cheltenham Spa, Gloucester and stations to Newport on Sunday - Monday
  • Gloucester and stations to Newport Tuesday – Friday.

Please note from Monday 22 - Friday 26 July the 0613 Bristol Temple Meads to Stansted Airport will start from Cheltenham Spa on Monday at 0717 and Gloucester from Tuesday to Friday at 0707.

Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 July rail replacement road transport will operate between Chepstow and Newport.
