If it’s boutique designers and exclusive names you’re after, Grainger Town might be worth a visit, with its flagship Vivienne Westwood boutique amongst others.
Culture in Newcastle
Newcastle is a vibrant modern city, which offers much to visitors when it comes to cultural experiences. The beautiful Theatre Royal is the regional home of the Royal Shakespeare company, but has a varied program of everything from touring West End musicals to world-class drama. For something a little more light-hearted, The Stand Comedy Club is one of the best in the UK with a top-notch line up, and even better food!
