The Westquay Shopping Centre has all your high street favourites in one convenient location, with some fantastic places to stop off for a quick cup of coffee or a relaxed lunch to boot. Many people travel to IKEA Southampton to find the best deals and beautiful modern homewares.
For a more boutique experience, we recommend heading to Bedford Place, just north of the city centre, where you can find some wonderful local, up-market and independent shops.
Much of Southampton’s culture is built around its fantastic natural location, whether it’s the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, the Southampton Boat Show, or some of the other amazing races, festivals and fun events held in parks and greens spaces across the city.
