Assistance is available to customers boarding and alighting trains, at all times trains are running. At this station assistance is provided by the Guard on board the train. You can book assistance up to 2 hours before your journey when travelling on South Western Railway. Step-free category B2 Station. Access to Platform 1 (for trains towards Havant and London) is via a narrow ramp (15m long, 1m wide and between 1:40 and 1:10 gradient).

Access to Platform 2 (for trains towards Portsmouth and Southampton) and to all ticket vending facilities is via a ramp (12m long, between 1:20 and 1:14 gradient).

Interchange between platforms is either via a full-barrier level crossing or via a footbridge with steps.

Due to a narrow platform, mobility scooter users and some wheelchair users may not be able to board/leave the train via a ramp. Please call our Assisted Travel team who will arrange alternative transport to/from the nearest station that is accessible to you.
