Rail replacement road transport will operate between Peterborough, Whittlesea, March and Ely. 

Sunday 27 August 2017

Trains will operate between

- The South West and Scotland with journey times extended by one hour.

- Reading and Birmingham New Street

- Cardiff Central and Tamworth

- Derby and Nottingham.

Rail replacement road transport will operate between Tamworth, Burton on Trent and Derby.

Saturday 26 - Monday 28 August 2017 until 1300

Rail replacement road transport will operate between Cardiff Central and Newport.

 

No trains to and from London Euston

Saturday 26 - Sunday 27 August 2017

On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August there will be NO trains to and from London Euston.

Network Rail will be carrying out major upgrade work at London Euston in preparation for your new high speed railway HS2, part of Britain's Railway Upgrade Plan.

CrossCountry services operating on the route between Reading – Birmingham New Street - Manchester Piccadilly are likely to be extremely busy. We strongly recommend you reserve a seat in advance and allow extra time for your journey.

Throughout the weekend, Birmingham Moor Street is expected to be extremely busy and a queuing system will operate to assist passengers on and off Chiltern Railways.  Station support staff at London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly, Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Moor Street will be available to assist with your alternative route.
