Since July 2017 CrossCountry have been proud partners of the Scouts Association to promote and support the Cubs Personal Safety Badge.
At CrossCountry we have developed our own Rail Safety Pack that is easy to download for any scout group wishing to complete the badge. Scouts can also connect with their local Community Rail Partnership or train operating company, to find out first-hand about safety on the railway.
We’ve also been working alongside other Cubs Safety Badge Partners who’ll be able to support any Cubs group with completing the badge. See below for a full list of other organisations participating in the Cubs Personal Safety Badge.
Who are Scouts
The Scouts believe in preparing young people with life skills. Through a series of exciting activities, from kayaking to coding, they look to develop character, employability and practical skills of young people, aged 6 – 25, as part of a worldwide movement. They work together to create stronger communities and to inspire positive futures.
Check out the scouts website, https://scouts.org.uk, if you, or someone you know, would like to be a scout or support being a volunteer.
