Andy Cooper - Managing Director
Andy has extensive industry experience previously holding Managing Director roles at Anglia Railways and Central Trains. Working recently as director of the CrossCountry mobilisation team, he has an exceptional understanding of the new franchise and Arriva’s plans to develop services. He reports to Bob Holland, Arriva’s Managing Director - UK Rail.

David Watkin - Commercial Director
Responsible for our marketing and communications activities and revenue, David is leading our processes to drive customer growth and awareness of our services. David was formerly Sales & Marketing Director for National Express Coaches and Commercial Director for Central Trains.

Jeremy Higgins - Customer Service Director
Jeremy previously held the role of Customer Service Director of Virgin’s Cross Country operation. Jeremy’s passion for excellent service matches CrossCountry’s values and he has provided important continuity for people in key frontline jobs transferring to the new CrossCountry franchise.

Maria Zywica – Human Resources Director
Responsible for the provision of HR support in employee relations, employee recruitment, employee development and training. Maria has previously held positions with London Midland as Employee Relations Manager and Human Resources Director at Transpennine Express. Maria’s early career was spent at Northern Foods in senior HR roles.

Jonathan Roberts - Finance Director
Jonathan was previously Financial Controller at CrossCountry before taking up his new position as Finance Director. He is a Chartered Accountant ACA and joined CrossCountry in 2008 from Lloyds Pharmacy where he held a varied role.

Helen Waters – Production Director
Responsible for operations and engineering, Helen joins CrossCountry after recently completing a number of projects with East Midlands Trains and Hitachi on the IEP project (InterCity Express Programme). Helen began her career with Steer Davies Gleave before holding a number of roles with Virgin Trains.
