    Description

    A vehicle has struck a bridge at Southbury.

    Because of this, the following alterations will apply until approximately 14:00.

    • Trains between London Liverpool Street and Cheshunt via Seven Sisters will run as far as Edmonton Green, then be diverted to Enfield Town
    • Trains between London Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport via Seven Sisters will be diverted and not call at stations between Hackney Downs and Cheshunt.

    Passengers wishing to travel to and from the following stations should make the following arrangements:

    • Southbury:  walk to Ponders End
    • Turkey Street: walk to Enfield Lock
    • Theobalds Grove: walk to Waltham Cross

  • Delays between Leeds and Doncaster expected until 13:30

    Description

    Overhead wire problems are causing disruption between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds.

    This is causing delays of up to 30 minutes to East Coast trains between Leeds and Doncaster. These delays are expected to continue until approximately 13:30.

    East Coast customers may travel on Northern Rail, FirstTransPennine Express or CrossCountry trains to York to connect with trains to and from London Kings Cross.

    Northern Rail trains between Leeds and Doncaster are not being affected.

  • Delays between Truro and Falmouth Docks expected until further notice

    A broken down train is causing disruption between Truro and Falmouth Docks.

    Until further notice, the following services will be cancelled

    • 20 minutes past each hour from Truro to Falmouth Docks
    • 50 minutes past each hour from Falmouth Docks to Truro

  • Buses replace trains between Stevenage and Alexandra Palace via Hertford North until approximately 13:30

    Description

    A problem with lineside equipment is causing disruption near to Alexandra Palace. 

    Because of this, buses are currently replacing all trains between Stevenage and Alexandra Palace via Hertford North.  This is expected to last until 13:30.

    Alternatively, passengers may travel from Enfield Town or Hertford East towards London Liverpool Street on National Express East Anglia services, but a valid ticket must be held - First Capital Connect tickets are not currently being accepted on these services.

    Replacement buses will run between Stratford and Tottenham Hale to connect with trains towards Cheshunt and Stansted Airport.

    The line between Gospel Oak and Stratford is closed from Saturday 20 February until Monday 31 May.

    Monday to Saturday:

    A replacement bus service will run between Hampstead Heath and Stratford. An amended train service will run between Richmond and Gospel Oak, and also between Clapham Junction and Gospel Oak. 

    Buses will be unable to call at Caledonian Road & Barnsbury. Customers should travel to / from Highbury & Islington.

    Sundays, Easter Holiday weekend (Fri 2 - Mon 5 April), and May Bank Holidays (Mon 3 May & Mon 31 May):

    A replacement bus service will run between Gunnersbury and Stratford. Customers should use London Underground services between Richmond and Gunnersbury.

    Buses will be unable to call at Caledonian Road & Barnsbury. Customers should travel to / from Highbury & Islington.

    Until 2012, there are no 'cross-London' services between St Pancras International and London Bridge/Herne Hill at weekends, bank holidays or between 22:30 and 04:30 every week night (See below for a list of dates on which a cross London service WILL operate). This work is a key part of the Thameslink programme

    During this time, customers should use London Underground (or London Buses at weekends only) to cross Central London. Outside London Underground operating hours, replacement buses will be provided between London Blackfriars / London Bridge and London St Pancras

    Until Autumn 2011, London Blackfriars Underground station will be closed. Customers should travel to Temple / Mansion House / City Thameslink stations which are close to Blackfriars. London Blackfriars mainline station remains open during this time

    At weekends, replacement buses will also run between Tulse Hill / Herne Hill and London Blackfriars via Loughborough Junction and Elephant & Castle

    A cross-London train service WILL run on the following weekend days:

    • Sunday 21 March 2010
    • Saturday 10 April 2010
    • Sunday 11 April 2010
    • Sunday 16 May 2010

    Ticket Acceptance

    National Rail tickets will be accepted on London Underground services via any reasonable route to complete your cross-London journey

    Tickets will also be accepted, at the weekend only on the following London Bus services:

    • Route 17: Kings Cross - London Bridge
    • Routes 45, 63, N63: Kings Cross - Elephant & Castle
    • Route 214: Kings Cross - Kentish Town

    A replacement bus service will run between Gunnersbury and Stratford. Customers should use London Underground services between Richmond and Gunnersbury.

    During this time, customers should use London Underground (or London Buses at weekends only) to cross Central London. Outside London Underground operating hours, replacement buses will be provided between London Blackfriars / London Bridge and London St Pancras

    Until Autumn 2011, London Blackfriars Underground station will be closed. Customers should travel to Temple / Mansion House / City Thameslink stations which are close to Blackfriars. London Blackfriars mainline station remains open during this time

    At weekends, replacement buses will also run between Tulse Hill / Herne Hill and London Blackfriars via Loughborough Junction and Elephant & Castle

    A cross-London train service WILL run on the following weekend days:

    • Sunday 21 March 2010
    • Saturday 10 April 2010
    • Sunday 11 April 2010
    • Sunday 16 May 2010
