We cross more of the country than any other train company and you can also buy train tickets for any train journey in Britain here.
Network map

The CrossCountry network has Birmingham at its heart and stretches from Aberdeen to Penzance, and Stansted to Cardiff. Fast train services connect major cities across Britain, including Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol and Southampton, as well as Cardiff and Edinburgh.
Many journeys with CrossCountry include a change at Birmingham New Street station which can, at busy times, be tricky, especially if you’re travelling with children, cycles or heavy luggage. You can get where you want to be with a lot less hassle - see our information on alternative stations to change at when you're travelling CrossCountry.
Travelling abroad? We provide direct trains to major UK airports at Birmingham, Southampton and Stansted - see Airport connections.
