You can choose to donate to charity through CrossCountry in a number of ways. Read on to find out how to do so, whether it's through delay repay or when you travel.
Donate through delay repay
If you receive compensation from delayed travel, you can now choose to donate this amount to our chosen delay repay scheme charity partner. Our chosen charity at CrossCountry Trains is Young at Heart.
Young at Heart are a small registered charity, founded in 1982, offering help and support to families of babies and children diagnosed with heart defects. All these children and their families have spent many weeks/months in hospital undergoing major heart surgery. Young at Heart provide a critical support line and network with regular ward visits, telephone support line and parents social forum groups, for parents during their time in hospital with their sick child but also when at home.
Your donation will help them to fund the support needed for the children and families effected. For more information on the charity please visit the Young At Heart website. If you are not eligible for our delay repay compensation you can still donate to Young At Heart.
Donate when you travel
CrossCountry are excited to offer customers the opportunity to make a donation to charity when they travel with us. Contributions can be from as little as £1 and are collected via our catering EPOS system when making a purchase, with 100% of the donation going to charity.
