On board CrossCountry trains, we have designated priority seating designed to be easily accessible by those who need them. All passengers may sit in these seats, but when required should be offered to anybody who needs them as a priority. This may include disabled people, pregnant people, elderly passengers, or passengers carrying an infant.
Please remember that not all disabilities are immediately visible and any passenger may require priority seating.
Priority Seating on Voyager Trains
- First Class*: 3 priority seats.
- Standard: over 20 priority seats.
- On average, Voyager Trains have 8 priority seats per coach.

Turbostar Trains Priority Seating
- Standard: 15 priority seats.
- On 3-car trains, there may be more priority seats. There is also a designated area for wheelchair users.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the availability of priority seating on any given journey as priority seating is available to all passengers. Where possible, we encourage passengers to offer their priority seat to those who need them
