As part of our Customer and Communities Improvement Fund (CCIF) we were delighted to help Great Central Railway (GCR) fit out a new Community Classroom at their Loughborough Central station.
We helped with a £9,000 grant to pay for all of the fixtures and fittings for the classroom. The Robinson Centre, which was officially opened on 05 December, will be used by visiting school parties and other community groups to learn about railways, as well as by GCR volunteers for their programme of Mutual Improvement classes and other classroom training needs.
