Train Flexi Season Tickets
Flexi Season Tickets give you a flexible way to save.
The modern world has changed the way we travel. With hybrid working being increasingly common for more people now, we know that it is important to make sure you are saving on your regular train journeys. CrossCountry’s Flexi Season Ticket provides the perfect option as a flexible season ticket choice for those travelling semi-regularly.
What are Flexi Season Tickets?
Flexi Season Tickets are, as the name suggests, a more flexible option to the traditional season ticket. Whereas Season Tickets allow for unlimited travel within a certain period, Flexi Season Ticket give passengers eight days of travel within a twenty-eight day period. When you purchase the ticket, you name your departure and arrival station, and can then travel eight times between those two stations within a month. There is also an added level of flexibility with the fact that passengers do not need to specify the days in which they will travel ahead of time.
What is the difference between Flexi Season Tickets and Season Tickets?
Flexi Season Tickets vary from all other types of Season Tickets. With other types of Season Tickets, passengers have access to unlimited travel within the allotted period of the particular Season Ticket. For example, unlimited journeys between two designated stations for a year with an annual Season Ticket.
These Season Tickets however are more expensive in comparison to Flexi Season Tickets, so if a passenger needs to take fewer journeys but still on a regular basis, the Flexi Season Ticket would be the best option.
Benefits of Flexi Season Tickets
The level of flexibility that Flexi Season Tickets provide passengers is the biggest benefit. Passengers may travel without naming their travel days ahead of time, which offers peace of mind and minimises the fuss of having to book on the day, so all you have to do is check the train times and hop on-board!
Another benefit is that you do not need to commit to a full Season Ticket if you are only travelling to a particular station a handful of days a month can also provide significant savings, with a minimum discount of 20% compared to a Monthly Season Ticket. A Flexi Season Ticket provides a perfect opportunity for passengers to make the most of cheaper train prices too.
