Travel Safety During Hot Weather
We want to ensure everyone is safe when travelling on the railway in hot weather. As temperatures rise again, be sure to stay hydrated by bringing plenty of water with you and other essentials like suncream, sunglasses and a hat.

Travel Advice
- Carry water with you – stay hydrated at all times
- Help make space for everyone on-board, use the overhead racks to stow bags
- Ask staff for the location of water fountains in stations
- Avoid pulling the passenger alarm between stations, as help can be more easily obtained with the train in a platform, as opposed to standing stationary on a railway line
