How to get to Edinburgh Castle by train
Edinburgh Waverley is the nearest train station to Edinburgh Castle. It’s just a ten-minute walk from the train station to the castle, and you should be able to see it as soon as you leave the station. From Edinburgh Waverley, head west along Market Street until it becomes Mound Place and then Ramsay Lane. It’s then a short walk up the steep Castlehill.
