Start your trip the right way by taking the train to Aberdeen Airport. When you take the train to the airport, you don’t need to stress about driving time and parking costs; you can simply relax and get excited for your adventure. Aberdeen Airport is an international airport located at Dyce, a suburb of Aberdeen, approximately 5 miles from Aberdeen city centre.
The airport is located two miles away from Dyce Train Station and there is a connecting bus service from Aberdeen to Dyce which takes around 10 minutes. With CrossCountry, you can purchase a through ticket all the way to Dyce Station.

Dyce Station is the closest train station to Aberdeen Airport, being just a 10 minute bus ride away. Dyce Station is unstaffed, but trains run at least once an hour Monday to Saturday, and slightly less frequently on Sundays.
Once you have arrived at Dyce station, you can jump on the JetConnect No. 80 bus shuttle, which will get you to the airport in approximately 10 minutes. The bus runs from Monday to Friday between 0630 and 1830. If you’re travelling outside of these times, you can grab a taxi outside the station.

If you’d like to have a browse while you wait for your flight, you will find a handful of shops at Aberdeen Airport. Go to Boots for all your health and beauty needs, including last minute sun cream and insect repellent, along with other travel essentials. Head to WHSmith for books, magazines and plane sweets and if you need some foreign currency, Aberdeen Airport has a Travelex before and after security.
Dixons Travel has all your electricals, so you can pick up that forgotten adapter plug for your final destination, and any other travel gadgets. Rolling Luggage sells bags and luggage, and you’ll even find an art gallery in the terminal!
